FAQs
Yes!! We make our pies and our sausages in the kitchen tucked in the back of our shop. The recipes have been in the Myers family for many generations. They are made with fresh ingredients, daily
2) Can you freeze your Pies and Sausages?
Absolutely! All of the Sausages freeze beautifully and last up to 4 months in the freezer. The same goes for the pies, except we do not recommend freezing the Scotch egg.
3) How do you reheat the pies?
We recommend heating the pies in the oven at 350, for about 20-30 minutes. We do not recommend reheating the Scotch Egg as the egg is boiled and then baked, so reheating it could create a rubbery texture. Typically, the pork pie and Pork and Stilton are eaten at room temperature, however, if you prefer them warm… then warm them up!!! Mr. Myers loves a hot Pork Pie!!
4) Are your pies and sausages GLUTEN FREE?
Unfortunately they are not. The only Gluten free option we offer is our Shepherds Pie. We would like to note that the Shepherds pie is made in a kitchen where gluten is prominent. We can make Gluten Free Cumberland Sausage! We just omit the Rusk and they are made first thing in the morning so there is no traces for gluten!
5) Do you ship your products?
Yes! We do ship within the mainland US. We use FedEx overnight or second day and the cost of shipping is determined by the weight and size of the box.
6) Do you pack your fresh goods on ice when shipping
Yes, we use a freezer bag and ice packs. They are an additional cost to the order but they can be provided
7) Are your products from England?
Absolutely!! We import items ourselves and buy from Wholesalers who bring items over directly from England and Ireland!
8) Do I need to order before coming in?
No! We serve walk in customers all the time. HOWEVER, if you are looking to purchase a large quantity of pies (more than 10) or sausages (more than 10 lbs) we do ask that you order ahead of time . It helps us, and avoids cleaning out the fridge and not leaving food for others. We HIGHLY recommend ordering from our website to reserve items at busier times, such as Christmas and Easter.
9) How many years have you been open?
We opened our doors on July 4th 1985!! This July we will celebrated 39 years!
10) Do you make party size bites?
