What Is a Hot Cross Bun?
A hot cross bun is a delicious, sweet, spiced bread roll traditionally enjoyed during the Easter season. These buns are made with a soft dough infused with warming spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, and studded with juicy dried fruits such as raisins, currants, or candied peel. Their most iconic feature is the white cross on top, typically made from flour paste or icing, symbolizing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Traditionally eaten on Good Friday, hot cross buns have become a beloved Easter treat worldwide.

What Is a Mince Pie?
A mince pie is a classic British holiday pastry, enjoyed for centuries as a symbol of Christmas cheer. These small, buttery pies are filled with a rich and flavorful mixture of dried fruits, spices, and a hint of citrus, known as "mincemeat" (don’t worry – it’s meat-free!). The result is a perfectly sweet and aromatic treat, best served warm with a dollop of cream or custard.

Best Served at Room Temperature

Some of our pies are best enjoyed without reheating.
The Pork Pie, Pork & Stilton Pie, and Scotch Egg should be taken out of the fridge and brought to room temperature about 30 minutes before serving.

The Large Sausage Roll and Fun-Size Sausage Roll can also be eaten at room temperature—this comes down to personal preference.
